Day 1 – Arrival in Colombo / Transfer to Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka and travel to the coastal town of Negombo. As the sun sets, stroll by the lagoon where fishing boats rest or visit a quiet Buddhist temple to begin your journey in stillness.

Day 2 – Negombo to Anuradhapura (via Yapahuwa)

Begin your sacred trail at Yapahuwa, a dramatic rock fortress that once safeguarded the Sacred Tooth Relic. Wander its grand stairways and weathered ruins before continuing to Anuradhapura, the island’s most ancient capital.

Day 3 – Sacred City of Anuradhapura

Spend the day exploring timeless wonders: the revered Sri Maha Bodhi tree, the towering white dome of Ruwanwelisaya, and the vast monastic ruins of Abhayagiri. As dusk falls, join devotees offering flowers and lighting lamps in a temple courtyard.

Day 4 – Mihintale – The Cradle of Buddhism

Day 5 – Anuradhapura to Dambulla (via Aukana Buddha)

Day 14 – Ella to Kataragama (via Buduruwagala)

Day 15 – Kataragama Rituals & Pilgrim Path
